What is the PMIF?
The Primitive Methodist Investment Foundation (PMIF) is a not-for-profit church extension fund that was established in 1969. The PMIF promotes growth and development of Primitive Methodist (PM) churches. It establishes an investment fund to make loans available to PM churches by offering demand notes to PM stakeholders.
In laymen’s terms, the PMIF offers competitive interest rates on demand notes to account holders and uses those funds to offer low-interest loans to Primitive Methodist churches and ministries. The funds from the demand notes can be withdrawn at any time by the investor with no penalty.
The PMIF pays its investors competitive rates of 5.00% (as of July 1, 2023) for any size investment for any period of time. The funds invested are available to the investor upon demand. Simple interest is calculated daily and is paid or added to the investor’s account every 6 months.
